How does a weasel make its nest?
Weasel do not build nest but take over abandoned burrows other animals to make it their den. They might also den under rocks, brush pilings, in hollow logs, in the crevices of the stone walls as well as barns sheds. The den will have a soft lining made if grass, leaves, fur and feather depending on what is locally available to them. These den also often contains food stored by weasel such as partially consumed carcasses.
