How does pandas get shelter in the zoo?
Giant pandas do not typically live in zoos. They are native to the temperate forests of Central China, with wild populations estimated at no more than 1864 individuals. There are currently more than 600 Pandas housed worldwide, mostly in China. While Pandas have been successfully kept in zoos with appropriate habitats and diets, these zoos typically recreate and maintain natural ecological conditions similar to the Pandas' native Chinese environments.
