What is a pandas habitat?

Habitat: pandas live in temperate forests with dense understories of bamboo. They require a habitat with a year-round source of water and plenty of food. Pandas mainly inhabit regions with altitudes ranging from 1,500 to 3,500 meters (4,900 to 11,500 feet) above sea level.

Geographic Distribution: pandas are found in the temperate forests of central and southwestern China, including the provinces of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu. The majority of the wild panda population lives in the Minshan Mountains of Sichuan Province.
