What zone does the manatee live in?

Manatees are found primarily in warm, coastal waters in tropical and subtropical parts of the world, including:

- The Western Atlantic Ocean: Including the US Gulf Coast from Florida to Texas, as well as parts of Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.

- The Eastern Atlantic Ocean: Including parts of West Africa, from Senegal to Angola.

- The West Indian Ocean: Throughout waters off of Eastern African countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, and Mozambique, as well as some nearby islands such as Madagascar.

- The Mediterranean Sea: Although their numbers are small.

- The Amazon basin: In the rivers of South American countries like Brazil and Venezuela.
