Will raccoons live in a groundhog hole?
Raccoons are adaptable creatures and will make their homes in a variety of places, including groundhog holes. Groundhog holes are typically located in areas with loose soil and plenty of vegetation, which provides raccoons with food and shelter. Raccoons will often enlarge groundhog holes to make them more comfortable and may even add additional chambers to the burrow. In addition to groundhog holes, raccoons may also live in trees, under decks or porches, or even in abandoned buildings.
