Can your ferret cage be outside during the winter?

Ferrets are sensitive to extreme temperatures and cannot tolerate very cold or very hot weather. The ideal temperature range for ferrets is between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Therefore, it is not recommended to keep your ferret cage outside during the winter, as temperatures can drop below freezing and pose a serious health risk to your ferret. If you must keep your ferret outside for any period of time, make sure to provide adequate shelter and insulation to protect them from the elements.
