What colors can raccoons be?

Raccoons are typically gray with a black "mask" around their eyes. Their fur is often described as "salt and pepper", with a mix of gray, black, and white hairs.

However, there are some variations in their coloration, and you can find raccoons that are:

* Darker: Some raccoons can have a more brownish or black coloration, especially in their legs and tail.

* Lighter: Occasionally, you might encounter a raccoon with a lighter, almost silver-gray coat.

* Albino: While extremely rare, albino raccoons are entirely white with pink eyes and noses.

It's important to note that these variations in coloration are relatively uncommon. The vast majority of raccoons will have the classic gray and black pattern.
