Instructions

    • 1

Measure the neck of the ferret. Use a tape measure to go around the entirety of the ferret's neck. Make a notation of the size you measure.

    • 2

Draw an outline of the collar you'd like using the marked tape measurement for size. Use construction paper or another type of thick, decorative paper. Add an inch to your measurement to allow for slack and folding over.

    • 3

Cut out your drawing. Loop the paper back over itself and attach the extra inch to the lower portion with a stapler.

    • 4

Cut a second strip of paper. Use the original measurement minus the extra inch.

    • 5

Glue the second strip to the inside of the first strip. This will prevent the staple from rubbing against the ferret's neck.

    • 6

Draw on the outside of the collar. Add any decorations, or a perhaps a name, if you'd like.
