Instructions

    • 1

Tie a large fishing float to a length of strong string. Attach it to the top of a doorway or from the ceiling so that it hangs low enough for the ferret to reach it. Set the float swinging and watch the ferret run after it.

    • 2

Clean out a large plastic bowl that you don't need anymore and cut several holes around its perimeter using a sharp knife. Your ferret will love to get inside this homemade toy, roll around, and poke through the holes.

    • 3

Fill an old pillowcase with crinkled scrap paper. Use different types of paper, if possible, to make the ferret toy even noisier. Place it on the ground and watch your ferret roll around on it to produce noise.

    • 4

Cut holes in the sides and bottoms of several different-shaped cardboard boxes, making them large enough for your ferret to squeeze through. Construct a tower with the boxes, one on top of the other, and secure them in place using the masking tape. Your ferret will love to climb in and through the new toy.

Cut a few holes in the side of a small cardboard box, making them large enough for your ferret to get his arm inside. Put several ping-pong balls in the box, shake it up to get his attention, and watch him reach in and go after the balls.
