What creature is a chough?

Choughs are birds in the crow family, Corvidae. They are black with red legs and feet and a yellow bill. There are two distinct species, a red-billed chough, _Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax_ of Europe and north Africa and an alpine chough, _Pyrrhocorax graculus_ of Eurasia. Choughs are social birds that live in flocks and feed on invertebrates, seeds, and fruit. They are found in a variety of habitats, including mountains, forests, and cliffs.
