What time of year do neotropical otters have babies?
The neotropical otter is found from Southern Mexico to Argentina. Although mating happens year-round in Mexico and Brazil, in some locations such as the Peruvian Amazon, mating usually occurs during the wet season (March to October) and births during the dry season (June to November). There will usually be two cubs born per litter, but sometimes there will be one, or even three or more cubs born.
