What are the Narwhals senses?

Vision: Narwhals have excellent vision, both in and out of the water. Their eyes are located on the sides of their heads, giving them a wide field of view. They are able to see in low light conditions, which is helpful for hunting in the dark depths of the ocean.

Hearing: Narwhals have very good hearing. They can hear sounds at frequencies that are too high for humans to hear. This helps them to detect predators and prey, as well as communicate with each other.

Smell: Narwhals have a keen sense of smell. They use their nostrils, located on the top of their heads, to detect food and predators. They can even smell food that is buried in the sediment on the ocean floor.

Taste: Narwhals have taste buds on their tongue and in the back of their throat. They can taste sweet, sour, salty, and bitter flavors.

Touch: Narwhals have sensitive skin that helps them to detect changes in water pressure and temperature. They also use their tusks to explore their environment and to sense movement in the water.
