How long are baby wild horses LEGS?
Baby wild horses, also known as foals, are born with relatively long legs compared to their bodies. On average, a newborn foal's legs can be anywhere from 12 to 18 inches (30.5 to 45.7 centimeters) in length. These long legs help foals stand and walk soon after birth, allowing them to keep up with the herd and find food. As the foal grows and develops, its legs will continue to grow proportionally with the rest of its body.
