What breeds of horses are palominos?

Palomino is a color, not a breed. A palomino horse is a horse with a golden coat and a flaxen mane and tail.

While any breed of horse can be palomino, they are often seen in breeds like:

* Quarter Horses: They're a popular breed known for their versatility and strength.

* American Paint Horses: Known for their distinctive color patterns, they can have a palomino base color.

* American Saddlebreds: Elegantly built and known for their high-stepping gaits, they can also be palomino.

* Thoroughbreds: These are racing horses, and while less common, palomino Thoroughbreds exist.

It's important to note that while these breeds are common for palominos, other breeds can have palomino horses too!
