What do ovules turn into?

Ovules turn into seeds after fertilization. When a pollen grain lands on the stigma of a flower, it germinates and sends a pollen tube down the style to the ovary. The pollen tube contains sperm cells, which fertilize the egg cell(s) in the ovule. After fertilization, the ovule develops into a seed. The seed contains the embryo of the new plant, as well as a food supply and a protective coat. Seeds can be dispersed by wind, water, or animals, and they can germinate when conditions are right to produce a new plant.
