Things You'll Need
- Cloth
- Hoof polish
- Glitter
Instructions
Wipe your horse's hooves with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt from the hooves. You should pick and clean your horse's hooves after every ride. Horses which board in stalls should have their hooves cleaned and picked daily whether you ride them or not.
Pour cosmetic glitter into a bottle of clear, high-shine hoof polish. Make sure you use enough glitter so it will show up on the horse's hooves. Cosmetic glitter comes in almost every color imaginable, so pick any color that appeals to you.
Paint the glitter polish on to your horse's hooves. Allow the polish to dry thoroughly, then apply a second coat. Give the second coat time to dry.
Seal the glitter onto your horse's hooves by applying a coat of plain, high-shine hoof polish over the last coat of glitter polish. Wait to exercise your horse until the last coat dries.
Watch everyone ooh and ah over your horse's new style and enjoy the admiration.
