In what climate do beluga whales live in?
Beluga whales are found in the Arctic and sub-Arctic waters of the Northern Hemisphere. They are adapted to cold climates and can tolerate temperatures as low as -2°C (28°F). Belugas are found in waters that are typically covered in ice for at least part of the year. They prefer shallow, coastal waters and estuaries, but can also be found in deeper waters.
