- Insulators
- Fence staples
- 18-inch rods or stakes
- Electric fence twine
- Livestock-grade electric fence unit
Instructions
Trim any over-hanging foliage or brush 2 to 3 feet back from the fence. Attach the insulators to the end of the rods or stakes.
Staple the rods or stakes to the existing fence posts so that the insulator is 12 inches above the existing fence.
Run the fence twine from the unit leaving several feet of extra twine at the unit. Connect the twine to the electric fence unit. Plug in the electric fence. Mount it on the last post.
