Are there wild horses in eastern Kentucky?

While there are certainly horses in eastern Kentucky, it's unlikely to encounter "wild horses" in the traditional sense.

Here's why:

* Domesticated Horses: Most horses in eastern Kentucky are domesticated and owned by individuals or farms.

* "Feral" Horses: There might be some horses that have escaped or been abandoned and live in a semi-wild state, but they're not truly wild. They are still descendants of domesticated horses and are often managed by local organizations.

* Wild Horse Ranges: Eastern Kentucky doesn't have the vast, unpopulated areas necessary to support truly wild horse populations.

So, while you might see some horses roaming free in the area, they're likely escaped or abandoned domestic horses, not truly wild horses.
