How to Build a Small Electric Fence

Small electric fences come in handy for a number of reasons, from temporary grazing for horses, cattle, sheep and goats to pet containment. They even become useful for keeping deer and rodents out of vegetable and flower gardens. These fences are highly portable and often used by people who camp with horses, or endurance riders whose rides span a number of days and nights. They are safer for horses than any other type of fencing and also are affordable.
