What climate is in an Iberian habitat?
The Iberian Peninsula has a Mediterranean climate, with mild, wet winters and very warm, dry summers. Temperatures can reach over 40 °C (104 °F) inland in the summer, and average around 15 °C (59 °F) in winter. Rainfall is mostly concentrated in winter, and it can be torrential. Summers are almost entirely dry. The vegetation is typically evergreen and xerophyte, with plants such as olives, almond trees, and cork oaks.
