How to Use Toothpaste on Sarcoids on Horses

Sarcoids are a common tumor that appear on horses and, as they are caused by a virus, can be contagious. There are several different treatments for sarcoids including surgery, ligation, cryotherapy, immune therapy, radiation therapy and topical therapy. There is also anecdotal evidence that toothpaste can be used to treat sarcoids, though these claims have not been confirmed by veterinarians or scientists. However, there are many that have claimed to have successfully treated sarcoids by topically applying toothpaste.
