Here's why:
* No vet means no complications: In the game, the vet's primary role is to intervene during difficult births or handle complications. If the birth goes smoothly, the vet's presence isn't strictly necessary.
* Natural birth: The game assumes horses are capable of giving birth naturally, even in an EC setting.
* Exhaustion is the downside: While the foal will be fine, the mother horse will be very tired after the birth, and her energy level will be significantly reduced. You will need to rest her and provide proper care to recover her health.
Important note: Even though you can technically give birth without a vet, it's strongly recommended to have one present, especially for valuable or pregnant mares with a history of complications.
