Instructions

Cut a length of soft cotton rope or braided cord about 3 feet long.

    • 2

Lay the rope out flat and fold the rope about 5 inches from one end.

    • 3

Grip the folded end with your dominant hand and tuck the loop under the longer stand. Pull the loop through the hole.

    • 4

Try the halter on the horse. The noseband loops need to face the back of the head.

Wrap the longer strand around the horse's head. Note the spot where the strap hits

      the knot.

    • 6

Remove the halter from the horse. Adjust the knots as necessary for positioning and fit.

    • 7

Add about 2 inches from the measurement on the strap. Cut off the excess length of cord or rope.

    • 8

Loosen the knot for the noseband. Slide the strap through. Sew the loop closed or use a hot glue gun to seal it.
