Main Features

While certain features are standard to all 2005 Sundowner three-horse slant load trailers, there are some variations in materials between the different types. The Sunlite 727 model, for example, is all aluminum, while the Valulite is a steel-framed trailer with an aluminum skin. According to Sundowner, standard features for both models include a width of 6 feet 9 inches and a height of 7 feet. All models come with torsion ride axles with electric brakes. Also included are an extruded aluminum floor, an adjustable 2 5/16-inch coupler, an aluminum gravel guard on the front and a drop leg jack as well as LED brake, tail and clearance lights. This trailer also boasts a pre-painted aluminum exterior skin, undercoating, a rear rubber bumper, and a collapsible rear tack with swing out saddle rack.
Horse Area

Sundowner three-horse gooseneck trailers come with stalls that are 42 inches wide when measured head wall center to center. The head wall is enclosed, although the front stall has an escape door with a breast bar and chain. The head wall also features drop-down feed doors with a 14-inch-by-24-inch window on each stall. The butt wall is also enclosed with a 14-inch-by-24-inch window for each stall. Each stall has padding on the head and body dividers, and the rear divider telescopes for easy access. Each stall comes with a bi-directional roof vent, two head ties and feed bag. The side walls are insulated and have kick plates. Floor mats are also standard.
Dressing Room

The dressing room is carpeted with a 14-inch-by-34-inch slider window in its door. There is also a saddle rack mounting location and a bridle bar with six hangers on the wall as well as a molded brush tray on the door. The floor is carpeted and there is a 14-inch-by-14-inch crank up vent. The dressing room features a 27-inch short wall and a 75-inch long wall.
