Instructions

    • 1

Locate the drain plug inside of the trough.

    • 2

Pull the plug out from the drain and allow the water to flow out from the tub.

    • 3

Speed up the process by siphoning the water out from the trough or by using a bucket to scoop water out.

    • 4

Lift the trough up when the water gets low enough and tilt it in the direction of the drain. Some troughs are built-in and unable to lift up. For troughs that you cannot lift, scoop the water by hand toward the drain.

    • 5

Wash the interior of the trough with soap and water. If the trough is moldy, mix a cup of bleach with water, then scrub the trough. Wash the trough with soap and water and rinse thoroughly.

    • 6

Spray the trough down with a hose and allow the water to drain out again.

    • 7

Replace the plug and refill the trough.
