Instructions

Hang your saddles, saddle pads and other tack outside, to air them out. Clean the tack area in your barn thoroughly, using a shop vac or handheld vacuum cleaner. Suck up any remaining stink bugs as you go. Use a vacuum cleaner to keep your tack room free of stink bugs going forward, as well.

Vacuum the underside of your saddles, to remove any stink bugs. Clean the saddle pads as well, using the vacuum cleaner.

Fill an old spray bottle with rubbing alcohol, and keep it in your tack room. You can use an old fly repellent bottle, for example. Just be sure to re-label the bottle clearly.

Spray the area around your saddles and other tack with the rubbing alcohol, to kill any stink bugs in the area. The rubbing alcohol saturates the wings of the stink bugs and causes them to die. Clean up the dead stink bugs with your vacuum cleaner.
