How to Tie a Roping Rope

Whether you are competing in the local rodeo or just working cattle around the ranch, you need to secure your rope properly. The saddle horn on a roping saddle is specially designed to hold a lasso, but it is up to the rider to tie that rope the right way. Learning how to secure your rope before you get in the saddle can help you work more efficiently, or compete more successfully.
