No matter what breed of horse you work with or what styles of riding you do, it is essential that your tack fit both your horse's body and your own. Ill-fitting tack will make the horse uncomfortable and cranky, and it can be dangerous for the rider. Knowing what size English saddle you need--and therefore, knowing how to accurately determine the size of the saddle you buy--will help you be a safer rider.
