Instructions

    • 1

Find a suitable spot on the wall of the barn or tack room. Be sure that you will have enough room for the saddle and saddle rack, both when the rack is folded flat and when it is fully extended.

    • 2

Use a stud finder to locate a suitable location for the screws that will hold the swing-out saddle rack in place. Be sure to check the location of the wall studs before proceeding.

    • 3

Hold the saddle rack up against the proper spot on the wall and place a pencil through the screw holes on the rack. Mark the wall with the pencil so that you will know where to place the screws.

    • 4

Use a power drill to drill out holes in the wall. Make sure you use a drill bit that is the right size for the screws you will be using to hang the saddle rack.

    • 5

Hold the saddle rack up against the wall and line the screw holes up with the hole made by the drill. Carefully insert the first screw into the screw hole and turn it tight with your hand. Move the saddle rack until the other screw holes line up with the holes in the wall. Place the remaining screws through the screw holes on the saddle rack and into the wall, tightening each screw by hand.

Use a manual or power screwdriver to turn the screws the rest of the way. Make sure the screws are tight and then swing the saddle rack out. Place your saddle on the rack and make sure the rack is secure.
