Do sea horses live in shoal or alone?

Sea horses are not known to live in shoals. They are solitary creatures, meaning they prefer to live alone.

While they might occasionally be seen in small groups, this is usually due to factors like:

* Finding a mate: Sea horses form monogamous pairs for breeding.

* Abundant food sources: If a particular area is rich in food, several sea horses might be drawn there.

* Strong currents: In areas with strong currents, sea horses may huddle together for stability.

However, they do not form permanent social groups like many other fish species.
