Whether it is made of the hair of a treasured friend and partner or simply an accessory, a bracelet made of horse hair makes a clear statement about the wearer's love of horses. Instructions

    • 1

Securely wrap one end of the horse hair bundle with the rubber band.

    • 2

Cut a small piece of jewelry wire, long enough to run the whole length of the hair, and insert it into the center of the bundle.

    • 3

Separate the hair into three sections, making sure that the jewelry wire is in the center section. Make sure each section is free from tangles.

    • 4

Begin braiding the hair by laying the left section over the center section to become the new center section, then laying the right section over the new center section to become the center section. Repeat until the whole length of the hair is securely braided.

    • 5

Tie off each end of the braid with the jewelry cord and trim the excess hair, then slip the cord ends through the jewelry clasps to complete the bracelet.
