What do horses wear in the Olympics?

Horses don't wear clothing in the Olympics. They compete in their natural state, with only essential equipment like saddles, bridles, and boots for their hooves.

The riders, however, wear specific attire depending on the discipline:

* Dressage: Riders wear formal attire, including a black or navy jacket, white breeches, a white shirt with a stock tie, black boots, and a helmet.

* Show Jumping: Riders wear similar attire to dressage, but may opt for a more colorful jacket and sometimes wear safety vests.

* Eventing: Eventing attire is similar to dressage and show jumping, but riders will wear a cross-country safety vest during the cross-country phase.

The focus in Olympic equestrian sports is on the horse's performance and athleticism, not on fancy outfits!
