Instructions
Study your boarding contract to determine what, if any, steps you are required to take to remove your horse from the boarding facility.
Give notice that you are leaving to the owner of the boarding facility. A 30 days' notice is standard in the horse boarding industry, but your boarding contract may specify something different. Follow the procedure laid out in your boarding contract in order to avoid the possibility of a lawsuit.
Hook up the truck to the horse trailer.
Load the horse into the trailer.
Remove the horse from the boarding facility.
