How to Become a Double T Saddle Dealer

Double T Saddles are sold wholesale by distributors. To become a Double T Saddle dealer, you will need to set up a legitimate business and register as a distributor with one of these wholesale companies. Two wholesale companies advertising Double T Saddles are Shiloh Stables and Tack Inc. and Equestrian Products LLC.

  1. Shiloh Stables and Tack Inc.

      Establish a legal business. You will need to provide Shiloh with your federal Tax Employer Identification Number (see the Resources section) and any state tax license, registration or store numbers that apply to your business before the company will accept you as a dealer.

      Go online to the Shiloh Stables and Tack Inc. website (see the Resources section) and click "Become a Dealer" in the lower left-hand column. It will be helpful to read all of the company information and FAQs before completing the form.

      Fill out form. You will be required to provide your company's name, email, mailing address, phone numbers, list of employees authorized to place orders and information about your business, including store hours, tax information, payment information and other vendors you use.

      Read Shiloh's "Terms and Conditions," then submit your application to become a dealer by clicking on the "send it" button at the bottom of the page. The company will review your application and either accept or reject you.

      Return to website and log in as a dealer to place an order, if you are accepted. Your first order from Shiloh is required to be a minimum of $300, as of 2010, according to its website. After your first order, there is no minimum purchase and you may sell as much or as little merchandise as you like.

    Equestrian Products LLC

      Establish a legal business. As with Shiloh, Equestrian Products LLC expects dealers to be able to provide federal and state tax ID information.

      Go to the Equestrian Products LLC website (see the Resources section) and read all of the company information, terms and conditions and FAQs.

      Click on "Become a Dealer" at the bottom of the home page. This will re-route you to Equestrian Products LLC's dropship page and the "New Customer Profile" form that you must download to complete. "Dropshipping" is the term used for sending products from the manufacturer directly to the customer.

      Download the "New Customer Information" form and fill it out. It will require your company information, contact information and tax ID information.

      Email the completed form to [email protected] or [email protected], as directed on the website. The company will get in touch with you about your application when it is approved or rejected.

      Place your first order, after your application is approved. As with Shiloh, a $300 minimum purchase is required, as of 2010.
