The Layout
-
Horse stall configurations will be unique to each event venue. Take stock of the number of curtains you have and their heights and widths. Compare the dimensions to those of your stall to determine where each panel will be placed. Take note of whether the barn will accommodate your curtains easily (some will have wooden boards from previous shows still attached) or if you will need to start from scratch.
The Hardware
-
Many stall curtain manufacturers will offer a complete support system for their curtains. If you ordered this support system, follow the installation directions. If you do not have a custom support system you will need one-by-two boards, a staple gun, duct tape, wire, nails and a hammer. You can also use C-clamps or Quick-Grip clamps, available at hardware stores, to attach the curtains directly to the structure.
The Method
-
When using the staple gun method, nail the boards to the barn where you want the curtains to hang and staple the curtains to the board. The tape and wire will enable you to tweak the curtains so that they hang exactly where you would like. When using the clamp method, space the clamps close enough so that the fabric does not sag or wrinkle.
The Extras
-
After the stall curtains are installed, adding potted plants, tack trunks, pictures and even patio furniture will help create a welcoming atmosphere and set your stable apart.

Horse Stall Curtain Instructions
Stall curtains are often displayed at horse shows to identify each barn. Most barns will feature their unique colors, logos and trainer names on their curtains. Plan to take some time prior to the start of the show to set up your stall curtains and set the stage for a successful competition.
