* Little Hawk: Crazy Horse had great affection for Little Hawk, who was a small but stout gelding. He was an excellent trail horse, and Crazy Horse used him on long rides and journeys.
* Brown Eyes: Crazy Horse's last horse, Brown Eyes, was a white-and-brown pinto stallion, that he obtained in 1877 as a gift after helping the Crow tribe locate stolen horses.
