You can replace Coralife bulbs and install the fixtures without the use of tools.

Instructions

  1. Replacing Lights

    • 1

Remove the lens cover by sliding it up off its tracks. Turn the light fixture upside down so that the bulb faces up.

    • 2

Remove the heat sealers from the lamp clips found just below the connection socket. Do this by gently pulling up on each of the lamp clips until the heat sealers come off.

    • 3

Unplug the lamp power source from the wall outlet. Unplug the bulb from the lamp socket by gently pulling the plug from the pronged portion of the bulb.

    • 4

Remove the fluorescent bulb from the clips by pulling it while gently holding both ends.

    • 5

Plug the new bulb into the lamp socket by inserting the socket into the prongs on the new bulb. Gently slide the bulb into the groove housing until it is secured underneath the lamp clips. Replace the heat sealers by sliding them over the lamp clips.

Connect the mounting legs to the Coralife lamp as per the package instructions. The process for installing the mounting legs varies based on the type of lamp.

Place the lamp on top of your covered aquarium where it will provide the most light for the plants and fish living within.

    • 8

Secure the lamp in place by sliding the free ends of the mounting legs under the lip of the aquarium.
