Things You'll Need
- Measuring tape
- Plastic mesh sheet
- Scissors
- 2 report binders
- Aquarium gravel
Instructions
Measure the width and height of your aquarium. Cut the width of the plastic mesh a quarter-inch wider than the aquarium. This will ensure a tight fit inside. Cut the height of the plastic mesh to stand a half-inch under the top rim of the aquarium.
Slide each side of the plastic mesh inside a plastic report binder. The binders should fit tightly on the plastic mesh without sliding off. Use the scissors to cut off the excess binder from the plastic mesh. The binder should only be as tall as the height of the plastic mesh.
Insert the divider into your aquarium in the location that has been chosen. Move gravel to the base of the divider for extra support. Make sure the top of the divider is high enough above the water line to prevent fish from jumping over the divider into the other side.
