Instructions
Hang the Dynaflow power filter on the aquarium so that the intake tube hangs down into the water. Do not plug the power filter in yet.
Open the top cover of the Dynaflow aquarium filter and insert the filter cartridge. Use only cartridges specifically designed for your model Dynaflow filter. Each Dynaflow filter model uses a different type of cartridge.
Fill the reservoir on the back of the Dynaflow filter with water. Stop filling the reservoir when the water starts to overflow into the aquarium.
Plug the Dynaflow filter into a power outlet. The filter will start drawing water out of the tank, and you will see the water begin to flow back into the tank.
How to Start Dynaflo Aquarium Filters
The Dynaflow power filter is an excellent tool for keeping your aquarium clean with minimum hassle. Power filters work by drawing water from the inside of the tank and through a filter cartridge that hangs on the outside of the tank. The filtered water is then returned to the aquarium through a waterfall action. The Dynaflow power filter works quite efficiently and should continue working with no problems, provided it is started the right way.
