- Serrated knife
- Filter tube
Instructions
Cut the rubber strips to fit and accommodate the location you want to mount the powerhead inside the aquarium and install them in the mounting bracket.
Cover the powerhead intake with the fish strainer to keep the fish from being sucked into the powerhead when using it just to increase the circulation in the tank. Place the powerhead over the edge of the fish tank and slide it into the mounting bracket.
Insert the powerhead intake into the riser stem adaptor by twisting it on. Mount the powerhead over the tank edge and secure it into the mounting hardware to attach it to an undergravel filter. Place an undergravel filter tube next to the power filter noting where it will need trimmed. Cut the tube with a serrated knife or tube cutter. Place the tube on the undergravel filter and fit the powerhead on top.
Attach the aeration tube to the connection on the top of the powerhead outflow vent in order to increase aeration.
Attach the suction cups and place the powerhead horizontally near the bottom of the tank for sump pump operation. Attach hoses from the powerhead output to the aquarium sump. Plug in the powerhead.
