How to Get Salt off of an Aquarium Hood

Saltwater fish tanks use pounds of salt to keep the water safe for the fish and live coral. Over time, the salt can begin to form a build-up on the hood of the aquarium. The salt build-up can cause your overhead lights to malfunction or it can clog up openings in the hood. Cleaning the salt off the aquarium hood is pertinent to the well-being of your fish and live coral.
