Instructions:

2. Clean the Area:
- Thoroughly clean the surface where the crack or hole is located using warm water and a razor blade or scraper. Remove any debris or algae.
3. Sand and Dry:
- Sand the area around the crack or hole using fine-grit sandpaper. This creates a smooth surface for the sealant to adhere properly.
- Allow the area to dry completely.
4. Apply Isopropyl Alcohol:
- Dampen a clean rag with isopropyl alcohol and wipe the area around the crack or hole. Let it evaporate. This ensures that the surface is free from dirt and oil.
5. Apply Aquarium Sealant:
- Read and follow the instructions provided with the aquarium sealant. If the crack is small, you can use a small bead of sealant. For larger cracks or holes, you may need to apply the sealant on a glass or plastic sheet before attaching it to the aquarium.
- Apply the sealant evenly and smoothly, ensuring that there are no air bubbles.
6. Allow to Cure:
- Let the sealant cure according to the recommended drying time specified by the sealant's manufacturer. This can vary from several hours to several days.
7. Test and Refill:
- Once the sealant has fully cured, test the aquarium by carefully filling it with water and checking for any leaks. If there are no leaks, you can complete filling it up and redecorate as desired.
Note:
- For cracks or holes larger than a few inches, it may be necessary to use a temporary patch on the inside of the aquarium using a glass or plastic sheet. This should only be a temporary measure until a professional can repair or replace the damaged glass.
