Things You'll Need
- One fish bowl
- One container dish soap
- One small bag of colored gravel
- One artificial water plant
- One water tablet
Instructions
Clean your medium sized fish bowl with dish soap and water. This will help to keep the water in your beta's bowl cleaner for a longer period of time.
Wash the colored gravel that you have chosen for your fish bowl with the dish soap and water. Rinse it well. You can also use plastic decorative small stones in place of the gravel in you desire.
Pour the colored gravel into the bowl about half way up from where you would like it to finally be. Place the artificial water plant in the center of the bowl. Pour the rest of the gravel into the bowl, making sure to secure the plant in place and burying the bottom of it.
Fill the beta bowl up with room temperature water. Leave about a half of an inch from the top of the bowl, when filling it up. Place a water tablet into the water and let it set until it has dissolved. This will remove the chlorine from the water, making it safe for your beta fish.
Place your beta fish into his new home. Sit the beta bowl on your deck and enjoy your new pet.
