What did seastar eat?
Sea star are carnivorous and eat a wide variety of prey including mollusks, crustaceans, echinoderms, fish, and even other sea stars. They use their unique tube feet to capture and manipulate prey, and their stomachs are capable of everting and wrapping around their food to digest it. Some sea stars are specialized feeders, such as the crown-of-thorns starfish which primarily feeds on coral polyps, while others are generalists and will eat a variety of available prey.
