What does the hector dolphin eat?

Hector's dolphins prey on small schooling fish including blue mackerel, sprats, anchovies, pilchards, red cod and opalfish within inshore waters up to 100 m deep. They take squid and crustaceans and are likely to target the most abundant prey available.
