What do galapagos dolphins eat?

Galapagos dolphins feed predominantly on small pelagic fish, such as sardines, anchovies, and mackerels. They are known to hunt cooperatively, using a coordinated group effort to encircle and capture schools of fish. Galapagos dolphins are also known to feed on squid and crustaceans, and occasionally they may consume benthic organisms such as sea cucumbers and small bottom-dwelling fish. Additionally, they have been observed feeding on marine mammals, including seals and sea lions, but these instances are relatively rare. Galapagos dolphins are opportunistic predators, adapting their hunting techniques and diet to the available prey in their environment.
