What eats a great white shark?

Great white sharks are apex predators, meaning they are at the top of the food chain and have very few natural predators.

However, there are a few animals that might prey on a great white shark, especially if it is young or injured:

* Larger sharks: Orcas (killer whales) are known to hunt and eat great white sharks, especially in areas where their ranges overlap.

* Other large marine animals: Occasionally, large animals like bull sharks, tiger sharks, and even large saltwater crocodiles may prey on juvenile or injured great white sharks.

Important note: These interactions are rare and usually involve young, sick, or injured great white sharks. Healthy adult great white sharks are very powerful and pose a significant threat to other marine animals.
