What eats sea lions?

Sea lions are apex predators, meaning they sit at the top of the food chain in their environment. However, they do have some natural predators:

* Great White Sharks: The largest shark species are a significant threat to adult sea lions, especially in areas where their ranges overlap.

* Orcas (Killer Whales): Orcas are highly intelligent and adaptable predators. They are capable of hunting and killing adult sea lions, especially in open water.

* Other Sharks: Some other shark species, like bull sharks and tiger sharks, can also prey on sea lions, especially young or injured individuals.

* Polar Bears: In the Arctic, polar bears are known to hunt and eat sea lions, particularly those hauled out on land.

It's important to note that these are just some of the main predators of sea lions. The specific predators that a sea lion faces will depend on its location and the time of year.
