When you purchase your Goldfish, find a bowl big enough to give him space to swim, peebles, some plants and a mirror. The mirror helps to entertain the Goldfish.

    • 2

Clean the goldfish bowl every other day, Goldfish are messy and poop like there is no tomorrow. Plus some of the food left over will accumulate and murk the water. Keeping a clean bowl will help keep your goldfish alive longer.

Give only the amount of food your goldfish will consume, over feeding will make the water unsafe for the fish and it may kill it.

    • 4

Teach your child not to stick their hands down the Goldfish bowl and play with it. They could squeeze it by accident.
